October 11th, 2012 by admin

Imagine you go to a wordpress site, and you see a very, very long post. Most likely, you’re going to get overwhelmed, you’re going to exit the site and you’re going to find other data – unless that content is really, really appealing to you. The key here, is to avoid overwhelming your readers, and you can do that by giving them – in bite size chunks, your content, then you will have a higher stick rate. The same with videos, people have a shorter attention span, so that’s the goal here: to take a long post and split it up into bite size chunks. So in order to do this, you’re going to need to have access to a mailing list or an auto-responder, and you can use anything you want, you can use “get response.com” you can use “mailchimp” you can use “aweber.com” or any other auto-responder system. You basically need to go to one of these places that allow you to build your mailing list and you need to get the code, and you need to copy that code onto your wordpress widget. Now, the best way to capture the lead or the prospects’ email address so that you can communicate with them later down the road, is to offer them a free report or some sort of free gift.
