www.mogrady.co.uk Part 9 of 14 – Artisteer 3 SideBar Artisteer 3 is surely the ultimate theme maker for WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, DotNetNuke, Blogger etc. When you make a WordPress blog, the standard free themes are reasonable and there is quite a selection. But why opt for second best when you can make your own with Artisteer 3. Did you see Part 8 yet – Article: www.youtube.com This is Part 9 and looks at the SideBar tab. The SideBar is where much of the global, detailed and additional navigation options are located on your WordPress site. The SideBar allows you to specify if there is to be a SideBar, and if so, whether it is a single column (left or right) or two columns (one either side or two to the right etc.). Lots of options allow you to change the SideBar graphicsl layout, style the section titles, apply colours, glares, transparency, textures and gradients. All of this for the background, each SideBar element and also for the internal content areas. Knock yourself out and drive yourself crazy with the endless options….or just click the Suggest button and see what Artisteer gives you. Be sure to watch the preceding parts. jupiterjimsmarketingteam.com Add an Image or “Clickable Image” to Sidebar Widget in WordPress 3.0.1 This technique should work with all versions of WordPress. If you don’t want a “clickable” image with a hyperlink to another page or website, just delete the opening and and closing “anchor” HTML tags. You will still have the image in the sidebar widget, however, when you click on the image, it won’t take you to any website or do anything at all. I use the WordPress Thesis Theme 1.8 in this video, however, you can use ANY theme for this technique. Hope this helps you. by Jupiter Jim at JupiterJim.com
