Yes it would, depending on the Search. I also have noticed that? Google is doing this less and less in Search for some reason even for sites which have the correct rich snippet formatting.

hey Mike, in regards to the video portion of this, if you were to embed a Youtube video on a page or post, will the video thumbnail show up? in the SERPs alongside your website link (assuming that you are ranking of course)?
