This is a great tutorial! Just remember to? go into File Manager, select .htaccess folder and then ‘change permissions’ which is on the tool bar above and make sure that all columns for read and write are selected. this should produce the number 666. Hit ‘change’ and you should be set!

I have a Mac, so files that start with a period are automatically hidden. I downloaded the folder, but? I can’t get the .htaccess file. And FileManager won’t let me create one. Please tell me how I can work around this problem. Thanks.

I seem to be having another problem. After following your tutorial, my permalinks are working fine and i? can see my posts now. But my “home” page still says under development. I deleted the “home.html” file when trying to find find a fix for it. Is this why my home page isn’t working or is it something else? Would appreciate the help 🙂
