I don’t think I would want my 14 year old sibling dating an 18 year old. The gap in there age wouldn’t be an issue for me if they were both adults, but since one is still legally a miner and the other is legally an adult I would have an issue. Girls? may mature quickly, but I don’t think she would be ready for an adult relationship at 14.

well, it all depends on how he really is. they all know how to play mom and dad and siblings. you gotta do what I did with my daughters. I secretly became really cool friends with their friends that were guys. These guys of course all wanted to date? my girls. so they didn’t have any problem ratting out the bad ones. turns out most of the guys my daughters chose were pretty decent, I only had to threaten one and he, well, lets just say he doesn’t even come to our city, not even close.

a females understanding of life, herself, and what she wants at 20 is WAY different then at 14…a 40 year old male is most like a man and responsible by that point. Stats do show that even at 20 that relationship will fail. 25 and every year that passes from there leads to a higher level of success. ?

age doesn’t matter once you get older. a 14 yr old should not be dating an 18 yr old. shes not mature enough? yet and so many things could go wrong.

yes, true, but not all relationships are sexual and as long as they actually love each other there is no issue with it, ther are people that are 60 years old that started dating in the 6’th or 7’th grade, and live perfectly happy, there’s noting wrong with how young you start dating, and the age difference, as I said in my post, there are people who date? people twice their age and are perfectly happy lives for years.

As the “first” boyfriend I’d say it might be rushing it a bit with that age. But normaly ther’s no issue with the difference in age. There are women that are 20 that date men that are 40 or above, and vis versa 20 year old men that date 40+ years old women. If two people really love each other genuinely, then there’s really not much to worry about, and it’s not that hard to tell if a guy is just looking for something specific and is something you should be able to pick up on fast if it exists.?

Freshman in high school – too willing to do anything to fit in/be popular. This is the time they develop into the type of people they want to be and the type of crowd they want to associate with. All the dudes friends probably are his age and do shit that a 14 year old shouldnt do, but will do to “fit in” and? “be cool” to her bf’s friends. Too volatile of a time in my opinion.

I don’t really see how her dating is an issue for you? 😛
She’s gotta learn to make her own choices (and live with the consequences).
If you have rational arguments, let her know, but the decision is always up to her.

I don’t think it is. My sister is 18 and has a boyfriend who is like 23 ish xD so its not that big of a deal as long as they love each other and like what the crazy dutchie (of belgian) said… Asl long as he doesný do anything she doesn’t? want or force her to do so it should be fine I think!!!!

Well. I don’t know anything about the? grade thingy (since i am from europe and we don’t use those, I don’t know how old you are on each grade) BUT My sister is 18y/o she has a boyfriend who is 24 I believe. i don’t think it should be a isue!!

its rly too much cuz shes young but u cant just say to her:,, stop dating with him!,, cuz she will hate u, just try to explain to her that its not normal and she? doesnt have to hurry up with boyfriends, there is plenty of time, she will meet some1 who will make her happy and she will think much different for 3 or 4 years… ofcourse she will not break up with him right now when u try to explain this to her but she will understand it by the time and she will be fine..
