Unfortunately, this particular theme does not allow you to do that. I actually searched around for a while for a theme that had a slideshow that? would work the way you want it to but at the time, I couldn’t find one at the time. You might check out the free themes at wphub dot com/free-wordpress-themes. I haven’t tried them out yet but it looks like they have two themes that have a slideshow that can function on a static home page.

Hey I am following youre tutorial step by step really like this theme but some of my clients want a static frontpage but when i? go static the slider dissapears.?
