I welcome any further suggestions, but I have (knock on wood) fixed the problem by (1) restarting Filezilla and (2) Edit -> Settings -> Transfers and limiting concurrent and simultaneous connections to 1.?

This has been very helpful, thanks for uploading.
Question: While uploading, I’m repeatedly getting the following error:
Response: 421 I can’t accept more than 5 connections? as the same user
Error: Could not connect to server
I’m using the free 000webhost server, so I recognize there is a limit to the number of FTP connections I can simultaneously run. I’ve tried limiting the number of simultaneous uploads to no avail. Any suggestions?
