This is a brief tutorial on how to create hotspots within an image so that multiple areas of the image can have different links to other sites. This is called an “Image Map”. No coding skills required. Just copy and paste code. Site used in tutorial: www.mobilefish.com

THANKS, I liked it a lot (i never workes with html before, but I seem to get it) – my only problem is, that the image is much longer than it was before – the dimonsions don`t fit any more… don`t know where that is? coming from.

Hi indiegarona. I’m sorry you’re having an issue with this. Yes WordPress has been updated since the video was made and the HTML tab is now the Text tab but the process still works.
Are you making sure to remove all comments, spacing and line breaks from the code?? That is the “trick” to making this work.

Doesn’t work for me, though instead of the “HTML” tab I have a “Text” tab which seems to serve the same purpose. Using most up to date version of WP. Baffled and ready to just hack my image to bits to do it the shitty? way.

Nice tutorial. I was trying to do that in a self-hosted wordpress and the visual editor rewrote the code, your trick of eliminating the comments and spaces between tags worked like? a charm. Thanks again. 🙂
