I think you might be confusing WordPress (the content management software) with WordPress(dot)com (the free blog hosting service).
You can install wordpress onto your hosting account and then upload the theme you’ve purchased. This will give you the look and feel you paid for on your own domain.
I don’t know how you would convert a wordpress theme into a straight HTML theme or weather it would be necessary. If I’ve misunderstood? your question, please clarify. I’m happy to help!

Hello, Dezz.
I am wondering if you could please help me out with a question. I paid for a WordPress theme called “Karma” , which I can show to you if you’d like via a link to your comments, cannot post links here I guess. Anyway, I? am wondering if it is possible to use this theme I bought from themeforest com , as the actual theme for a website, rather than just a WordPress? thing is, I am also not sure if I can test it by uploading to my current server as sub, to test it out.
