    Great tutorial Allan!

Do you know any WordPress plugin? that allow to build content as a responsive grid (for instance useful to upload pictures inside)? In this tutorial you used the TinyMCE widget but is not responsive.

Any help would be much appriciated

Thanks djff100, you will need to edit the front-page php file, switching the order of the main content and featured content areas (move the featured content area above the main content area.)
You can disable the call to action button in Theme options, then use a plugin (shortcode) to add your inbox underneath the main content?

Hey Allan GREAT video, I have two question for you if you can be kind to help me.

1- Do you know how can I flip the main area? I mean put the image on the left and the text and call to? action on the right.

Do you know how to put a inbox where the Call to action button is??

THANK YOU VERY MUCH in advance buddy for any help 🙂

This is great tutorial, the meteor slide implementation worked like a charm. Can you help me with the formatting in the front-page.php if I wanted to add some blurbs under the slideshow? Not sure if you covered this already but it would be great to still have a featured title area perhaps under? the slideshow that would still allow direct editing of the home page through the dashboard in the “Content Area” box. Thanks in advance!

Thanks Allan! That did the trick. And yup I was? a bit too fast to get goign – and didn’t read the description.

  17. Allan Whitney

Hello crjensen4, the home php file is now the front-page php file with? the new update. You’ll find everything there! I explained that in the description, I guess you missed it, 🙂
    Thanks

    Hey Allan.
    Great tutorials.
I am trying to follow along and modify the home.php file – however when I open it – I don’t get any place telling me the Width – the 460 pixles wide etc – nor the call to? action button. – any clues?

Hello Allan, thank you for the reply.
I might have not? explained this properly. I want my slide to occupy the whole segment of the body, so that there will be no white space above, left and right. Just my slide fit to the border. Hope i explained my issue better :).
    Thank you.

Hello Praiser16, hope all is well. You set the Meteor slideshow (presentation) settings to the size you want, for full width use 940-960 pixels wide (please experiment to see what works for you) the one I demonstrate is only 840px, if you look at my site, there is no “border”? on the slideshow I currently have so that should not be a problem. With the Meteor slides Plugin there is no border option.Check your images for any borders as they will show in the slideshow. Hope I understood you question

  21. Praiser16

First of all thank you for these tutorials.
I? have a question still, regarding the slide show, i’ve added the pics i want for my presentation but i would like that the pictures to be displayed on the whole 1st half of the space. Without any border. Also i can’t seem to find a proper resolutions to have a wide picture. Thanks in advance. Br

yep gott it!? thank you so much!

Hey Dela, it’s OK, step back? and take your time. Yes it is the front-page php file which replaced the home php file with the new update. It’s a version thing and I mention that in my description. When I made the tutorial, it was home php. I don’t know why they changed it because it has caused a ton of confusion with the Responsive Theme. But you are on the right track now. Make sure you name your child theme something so you know which theme you have activated. Let me know how it goes, thanks
