Mark, the best way to do this now that you have upgraded to hosting is to use a temporary domain name (any dotcom name-will cost you $10) and you will develop your WordPress website on the new domain name and hosting account while your business site is still up. Once you finish building your? WordPress website you will want to transfer the DNS for? the domain name you want to use from website builder to your new? hosting account and you will be all set. I’d just worry about developing for now.

I have been using godaddy for a year now. I want to use wordpress for my business. I upgraded to hosting but it doesn’t give me the same layout you have. I used website builder to make my current website and my primary domain name im using is still with the site builder. When i launch web hosting, it does not give me an option to select word press. it just ask for which domain I’m going to use. I would like to? use zlockoutservice dot come since everything i have out there uses that site.

I believe? you do, probably the best way to achieve this is to use the WordPress plugin “WP Native Dashboard”. Does this answer your question?
For theme customization consider creating a child theme rather than editing the style.css file in your WordPress editor so your changes are never lost when you upgrade your theme or something of this nature. Thanks for commenting!

(second response) and additionally I don’t like them for registering domains compared to “Name Cheap” which is where I park domains. They give you free whois protection and 1.89 after the first year.. also pointing name servers is really simple there. I stand by blue host and name cheap lol
It’s simple to register domains and host elsewhere. I started with everything at? godaddy and found it more complicated than with two separate companies specializing in each. selling domains-hands down godady

Thanks for asking, I’ve been planning on making a side by side comparison between Godaddy and Blue Host. Prior to making this video I’d already signed up? with blue host and am still in the process of transferring websites. you can use blue host’s baby account and host unlimited domains with unlimited databases unlike godaddy. Also, everywhere you turn it seems like godaddy is selling something, not to mention the weird c-panel.
Also, the tasks take a fraction of the time, creating db and such.

Why do advise against GoDaddy for hosting? All of my domain names are parked there. It seems like would be more convenient and less complex if I simply host at GoDaddy too. I am noob…so please pardon my naivety.?
