Hi Katrinah,thank you very much? for your quick response. I tried but in Subscription Settings, I only see 2 rows “RSS URL” and “Email Subscription URL.” I don’t see the row “contact form e-mail.” When I put my email in the “Email subcription URL” I still get the same error message. any idea what is wrong? thanks so much. I”m using Mystile 1.2.11 and Framework 5.5.5

Dear Katrinah, Thank you very much for your informative videos . Your explanations are very clear, and I’ve liked your site. I’m not sure if I missed it but what do we do with the Contact page on the website. I’ve created the MailChimp mailing list for? the footer based on your other video but I’m not sure what we do with the Contact page in video. WhenI go to the page, it says “Email has not been set up properly.” but when I go to the Edit page I’m not sure where I enter my email. thank you

Hi Katrinah, thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. The CSS you mentioned was indeed helpful, and it helped me to locate other relevant CSS to reduce space generally in the website. I really appreciate? your generosity in sharing your vids and responding to my questions!!

hi cecilia, yes you can use the google chrome developer tool as taught in the vid. you’ll need to look for the #header. i just looked up the margin-bottom, it’s 1.5em so you could try reducing it to 1em like this below. hope this helps.
#header {
margin-bottom: 1em;
}?

Hi Katrinah, thank you so much for your prompt reply. The footer tip was very helpful! To find the relevant css for reducing space in the header? section, if I use the Google Chrome technique you taught in the video, do you have any tips on what kind of code to look for? thank you very much.

thanks so much, cecilia. so glad the vid is helpful. re: the footer, go to mystile “theme options” >> footer customization >> and at the top, select the layout with 3 footer sections,? then “save”. this will give you 3 sections in the footer. to reduce the space in the header section, you’ll need to add custom css to the theme in theme options >> general settings >> display options >> custom css box. hope this helps. thanks for your comment.

Hi Katrinah, Your videos are awesome and very helpful. Thanks so much. I’ve liked it. Can I please ask, with regards to footers, I’ve followed your? format of 1.menu, 2.social icon, 3.email. how do you get rid of the 4th footer? because with the empty 4th footer the alignment is off. Also, can I please ask you how do you reduce the amount of space above the top left logo “Katrinah.com. inspiration,e-books (&gear)”, & also the space between that logo,& the main banner picture below? Thank you.

Hi Katrinah – love your videos! They are so helpful. Just a little pronunciation tip for the future. The word “hover” should rhyme with “lover”, not “Rover” the? dog. 🙂

Great video!
One question:
Is it possible to have a budget cart? What i mean is, the client selects a product, but that product doesn’t have a price, has a button (same as the cart) so that when a client chooses the quantity he wants and clicks the button an email is sent to? the admin with that budget request.
Thank you very much

hi jason, when you go to: settings >> media, my settings are: thumbnails: 510px wide, 510px height; medium size: 300 x 300; large size: 1024×1024. wordpress takes the square image and reduces it in the images on the homepage. also, the 510×510 is for the product pages. perhaps try changing your settings in settings: media and see how it looks. also, you’ll need “regenerate thumbnails” plugin: install/activate. then go to media, select images and click “regenerate thumbnails”. hope? this helps.

Is there any way for me to use a smaller picture? 510 x 510 is too? big.
August 18th, 2013 at 4:23 am
hi? jason, yes it sounds like you need to upload a larger version of the image you have. 128px will be distorted when it is enlarged within wordpress. i would try 510px x 510px. hope this helps.

Using? Chrome, I went to inspect the element to see if I can figure it out, and I see…
/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Double-Chocolate.jpg
itemprop=”image” class=”woocommerce-main-image zoom” title=”Double Chocolate” rel=”prettyPhoto”><img width="128" height="188" src="…/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Double-Chocolate.jpg" class="attachment-shop_single wp-post-image" alt="Double Chocolate"

Dear Kat, I ran into some problem while doing the “Featured Image” for my products. My original picture is only 128x188px, but after uploaded it as Featured Image, it got blown up so big that the whole picture becomes blur when I view it on the site. If I double click the image, a smaller window pops up showing? the image in its original size 128x188pc, which is just fine and nice.
I see in your tutorial, your pic Yoga-stretches for beginners is 510×510 and it looks just fine when you do it.
