Is it possible that you don’t have a web hosting account set up yet? Once you register a domain name, you need to set up the web hosting in order to access it. That’s the only thing I can think of.?

No, it’s not necessary. You can use their Website Tonight and build a static html/css website if you want. Or? build your site in Dreamweaver, etc. and upload your site.

I’ve never heard of having to get a DNS for the domain name if you registered both the domain name and the? hosting plan with GoDaddy. You may have to call their customer service. They’ve always been very, very helpful when I’ve gotten stuck on something. Wish I could help more, but that’s something I’ve never come across.

Hi Karen, I’m in a bit of a fix. I bought a web hosting plan with GoDaddy but I can’t launch the phpAdmin to? get to MySQL to set up the site because I have to have a domain name. I chose a domain name in GoDaddy and then it told me that I needed a DNS for my domain name (which I haven’t got yet) which has kinda put me in a chicken and egg situation because I intend to use WordPress as my site and it’s not letting me download it off GoDaddy because I don’t have info on the directory. What gives?
