Sorry Alexus! GoDaddy has changed their interface since I? did the video – Click on ‘All Products’ (tab on far left of Nav bar), then float over ‘Hosting and Servers’ and select ‘Hosting Management’ at the bottom of that menu…. Click the green ‘Launch’ button to the right of your root domain, then that brings up Hosting Details (where it is ALL different). Scroll down to ‘Settings’, & find Hosted Domains 2nd from the left, a globe icon. ‘Applications’ is on the right sidebar – Hope this helps!

I can’t find “My Products”, there’s a “Products” tab. When I click on “Launch” on my domain name, I? don’t get “Hosting Control Center”, I get “Control Panel” but I don’t get the a “Hosting Dashboard” with the FTP File Manager, Domains, and Email options like on the screen on your video. In fact my Godaddy screen looks very different from yours. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

It’s not that easy if it is not? already a WordPress site, beyond what I have time to teach, because I would have to figure it all out as I went first anyway, sorry!

Can an? existing godaddy website be loaded into WordPress?
March 29th, 2013 at 8:48 am
It depends on your hosting service, and this can’t be intended as an entire tutorial, but GoDaddy or HostGator have tremendous support to help you through this, it’s the way I learned. … But once you launch the hosting? services dashboard, whether in GoDaddy or whereever, you should have a mySql tab, as well as an FTP area. The FTP control panel (or an app) can be used to upload your sql file (usually into a ‘backups’ folder), and then mySql is used to ‘restore’ your database using that file.

You’re welcome! I had trouble finding it even after I knew where it was so I have had to? refer to this video too – now they’ve changed the initial interface to a graphical one, glad you still found it and got going!
