I know your post is 4 months old but I’ve used artisteer since it first came out and never had a problem. They keep it up to date. And even when wordpress updates – which is often – older templates still work.?

You pointed out my main concern here. What happens when WordPress upgrades? Will it? still be compatible? The convenience of the software is almost too good to be true though so I’m going to give it a try and cross my fingers.

No doubt Artisteer has a lot of code and it’s always best to use minimal amounts of code. But I tested? this live and it loaded pretty fast. Of course I didn’t have as many plugins loaded either.

May i ask you if (because of having so much code) this theme slows down the page loading time or not, compared to say TwentyTen or TwentyEleven?

That’s probably? because you are using wordpress(dot)com You need a self hosted wordpress site on a paid host.

Lisa, I just purchased and created a new theme using Artisteer,? but I unable to upload my theme to wordpress. When I go to themes, there is not a tab for uploading…can you help?
