February 9th, 2013 by admin

In this screencast tutorial I talk about enabling the lightbox effect with the pictures you’ve inserted in your posts and pages. This vid also happens to be the first I’ve done in glorious HD. So feel free to go full screen with this one! Enjoy!

LOL! Even if it was? in a gay way that’d be cool as well! I don’t go that way but I’ve got nothing against those that do. You are very welcome! Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the kind words! By “set” I guessing you mean like? a “flickr” set. To my knowledge, I don’t believe there is unfortunately. Maybe they’ll add it in down the road. BUT if you can get the set to show up in your post or page (could be majorly cluttered) via a thumbnail gallery (less cluttered) you should be able to make that work. In theory anyways. πŸ˜‰

All the best and again, thanks for the kind words! I’m glad you found the tutorial helpful!

    Cheers!

Aha! Thanks again, Tad. You’ve been a? huge help.

Thanks elainevitone! The arrows “slide show” effect you are looking for can only be achieved by having multiple pictures in a post or page. Once you have them in the post or page THEN you will get the arrows you are looking for. This should work for images linked to locally on your site or externally (via Flickr for instance),? but again, they have to be in your post/page. I find using the thumbnail size (linking to the original) is a really clean way to make this work. Less clutter. Good luck

This tutorial is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. Thank you!!!!

Can you tell me how to insert a set of related images that I’d like to group, so that visitors? to the site can flip between the images with the arrow key? I can’t find instructions for WordPress anywhere.
