Hover your cursor over the “Settings” tab located in the bottom left of the window. Click on “Discussion” from the flyout menu. The window “Discussion Settings” will open. Here, for “Default article settings”, uncheck the box next to “Allow people to post comments on new articles”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Save Changes” Now, all your new posts will have their comments disabled. Next, let’s disable comments for all existing posts. Hover your cursor over the “Posts” tab located on the top left of the window. Click on “All Posts” from the flyout menu. In the window that opens, check the box next to “Title”. This will select all your posts. Select “Edit” from the “Blulk Actions” dropdown menu. Click on “Apply”. The “Bulk Edit” area will open. There – click on “Do not allow” from the “Comments” dropdown menu. Click on “Update” located on the right of the window. Comments for all your current posts have now been disabled.
