Tutorial: How to a Install WordPress Theme Using the WordPress Dashboard

In this tutorial you’ll learn how to install a free WordPress theme in less the two minutes. It’s super easy. Here’s what you’ll learn in this video. First, I’ll show you how to search the official WordPress themes directory from within the dashboard. This will save you a lot of time and hassle with downloading theme files – and then having to upload them again using an FTP program. That’s way too much work! BTW, the official WordPress theme directory is the best place I’ve found to get free designs – including portfolio, magazine, video and mobile themes. If you haven’t checked it out, take a look. Some of the free designs are a good as a premium theme. Next, I’ll also show you how to edit the theme colors, background image and site tagline with the Live Preview feature that comes with WordPress. You can use this feature with any theme – free or premium – to get your website or blog looking exactly how you want it to before making the new design visible to your visitors.
