Ah, yes the reason why you were presented with the “It works!” page is because there are two index files, one is? html and the other is php. Thanks and sorry for the late response.

Hi, sorry for the late responce. My xampp is modified to skip directorys so i go straight to a file tree. A? new tutorial will be posted soon. Please stay tune!

At 1:38 when he simply typed in localhost, I had to type in localhost/installwp because typing in localhost just took me to a page saying ‘It works!’ I know how these server software install and work? differently for people so I just thought I would share just in case other people couldn’t reach the localhost directory and access the wordpress folder. Awesome tutorial!
