Creating good looking wordpress websites used to be a quite challenging task especially for newbies unless you are an expert in web and graphics design and lets face it not many of us are… don’t worry though since I created a new course on wordpress, which will teach you how to convert your wordpress blog into? a serious marketing machine. I uploaded a sample part of the training course on my channel.. just go here: ===> /watch?v=iMqz_kv-UUI <– or visit my channel to watch it

You notice what index.php he is opening. he is opening index.php that is in main wordpress dir which pulls the active theme index.php in visual window.

You can edit CSS file and see results for front page only.? I do not see the way to visually preview design any other pages then index.

Hello, I only have one question. Can add edit my theme in dreamwever after I do what you do here is this video?
I hope you can understand what I’m saying, I lose 1 hour searching in Google but I can’t fund nothing useful.

Can you help? me? Thank you.

Looks like the only page you can visually? edit is index front page, thats it you can’t visually design other pages like archives, single, categories. DW for WP is pretty worthless. unless you have some tricks up your sleeve you want to share.

    Very helpful! ? Thanks.
Using WAMP I didn’t need the :8888 on the URL. WAMP must use port 80 by default.

im getting an error saying dynamically-related files could not be resolved because the site definition? is not correct for the server.
    What do I do?

  17. Samb0123

I’m being vague but? I will see if I can upload a tut on it for you 🙂

  18. Samb0123

I don’t see why you want to do that when website is ready to move to server I suggest you look google as u can export your database, upload your wordpress folder on your machine, import database and change your db details in? the wp-config.php file!

  19. whatthephil

This is great, but how do you set this up if you want a remote server for a website? It’s not working it can’t? find the dynamically related files.

  20. WorldofDepleted

Great intro, but can you show how to go to the ONLINE server from the local one? I’ve found loads of stuff on how to complete cut up your code for the online version, but that doesn’t allow you to? keep going back and forth from local to online. I want a seamless back and forth solution for safety!

  21. afganrasulov

    For WAMP or XAMP users:
    1. Type localhost/wordpress? (your project folder name) instead localhost:8888/wordpress
    2. If you see Retry button it means that your not Installed WordPress yet. Using browser inside Dreamweaver CS5 press Ctrl+Click (link) instead Clicking. For installing WordPress search in Youtube. (it is easy to install)

    Very? Good! Congratulations from Brasil!

  23. Phileas Frogg

Mate, don’t know how I can express my gratitude. I consider myself fairly computer literate but I have literally spent HOURS? reading one tutorial after another, trying hundreds of different things to get this to work. Your video was the first that explained things in a simple and direct manner. I had to tweak a few other things (it didn’t like it that word press was directly installed in the htp docs folder – needed sub folder) but now it WORKS!!! IF you are ever in London, beers are on me 😀

  24. TheAaina2

wow, it worked, you just saved my? a huge amount of trouble
