January 10th, 2013 by admin

We continue to work on our navigation menu. In this part we write a bite of jQuery to create a toggle system for our navigation menu on small screens. Check out the code and download the source files: www.awfulmedia.com Music by Dano at Danosongs.com What’s this series about? In this series we are going to create a custom WordPress theme from scratch. We will learn how to create WordPress themes, use advanced features such as: custom post types, custom fields and meta data. We will be focusing our theme on a site based on a site like Kongregate.com or Armorgames.com. Other than that, I haven’t had any problems with this lesson. Love the toggle display with Jquery. It actually works with Internet Explorer. I wrote something similar in JavaScript, but Internet Explorer refused to play nice with? it.

My nav bar was twice as high as yours. maybe I missed something, but removing the height property to .nav-bar fixed it, and still kept the? navigation 50px tall.
