This video is kool, but Host Gator is very unprofessional. They never verified and confirmed my payment. I call them and some guy in India answers the phone and puts me on hold for an unlimited amount of time.? He indicated that several people were calling and that they were behind. Please refer people to another hosting plan.

I loved your instructions, you make it sooo easy to follow…but am having trouble? passing the downloading of the “catch” theme you’ve suggested in this video. Is that a way of deleting the theme all together and start over? I’ve done this part over and over without success. please help!!!

I seem to be having the same issues as a lot of people on this thread, perhaps because its a newer version of wordpress? but my featured slider does not fill up the aloted space on the home page and the “Post Thumbnail Editor” does not appear where you show. There is? no gallery tab. Any suggestions?

MAJOR PROPS for making this stuff so plain and clear.? I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it!… I only experienced one problem.. I’m having problems getting the pictures in my featured slider to fill up the space thats available. They come out much smaller and take away from the look. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Tyler i followed your guide and made a website for myself it was my first try and i think it ended up great but i have 2 problems right now i hope you can help me
1- i cannot edit the slider picture like you do i downloaded the same plug-in but mine has a completly different menu i dont know what to do
2 – my site was working great for 2 days then i uploaded a new post and it is all fucked up , my home page doesnt show the new posts? anymore i dont what did i do but i have to fix it help pls

Hey Tyler, thanks for the video.
I’m trying to follow you right through, but am getting stuck at editing the slider image using the post thumbnail editor. It’s not giving me the same options as you have, and the dialog box is not popping up the same. Instead of ‘Upload/Insert’ it says “add media”. Any idea what I’m doing? wrong?
