Change your url locally and can’t log back in ? Solution =
you need to go into phpadmin in mamp. go to your database.
there you will find a file called wp_options. in there you will see
the url and home – from there you can edit? these back to your local
address.
Really Really great video but this should be mentioned.

Anyone? ever figure out how to repopulate the site on the local host?

hey redskincrazy, its really simple. the problem lies in the database, not in the wordpress files. Open up your phpMyAdmin and go to where your wp database is. you look through the tables and you will? find what you re-named it to. Make the change back to what you had it previously named and everything will work fine! i hope this helped.

Hi, I use Bitnami, and cannot find the database? on myphpAdmin.. I saw that the database name is bitnami_wordpress, but I didn’t find it … where do I find my database?

Thanks for the great tutorial!, I have 1 question though:
Whenever we’re renaming the filepath in our wp-admin settings and getting it ready to go live, we’re all of the sudden left with no wordpress on our localhost! How do we re-enable that filepath to be localhost/wordpress/../.. ??? Theirs no possible way to login to wp-admin? in our local host any longer… so which file does it live in to make these changes?

nice video but u? failed to address the localhost path when you change the wp-config.php. Hosting company like godaddy require their correct localhost to be addressed. Otherwise it will give an error “error connecting to database”. but thanks for the video.
