studiomediacam.com Tutorial for Header How to create a wordpress blog custom header. Steps to Create a WordPress Custom Header. WordPress blog tips. The steps to create a custom wordpress blog header include the following. 1-If you don’t have photos and graphics already then go to google, search for your topic, and click to choose images. To save an image you wish to use to your computer right click on it and choose Save As. I recommend saving the images to a folder on your desktop. 2-If you don’t have the free Picasa photo and video editing software go ahead and download it. This will only take a moment. Picasa will automatically find every image that is saved anywhere on your computer and put it in the Picasa database. 3-In Picasa click on a photo or image you wish to use. It will appear in the lower left in the “tray.” Click on the green button near the tray to save the image there. Go back and click on other images you would like to use in the header. 4-Click on collage. The images will appear. Resize them, drag them in a row along the bottom, and add any background color you wish with the collage tools. 5-Click Create Collage, and when the screen goes back to the main screen click on the collage so the editing tools come up. Add any text you wish to have in the heading and use the cut tool to cut out the bottom horizontal shape that will be roughly the shape and size of a header. Later you can cut it more precisely in wordpress. 6-Go to WordPress to the dashboard

Picasa is supposed to automatically gather all of the photos from anywhere on your computer and put them in Picasa. I’m puzzled regarding why some of your photos are not showing up in picasa. If the photos are on your desk top Picasa should have automatically added them.?

I’m not sure what you mean by what’s the theme. The video was created using free software from camstudio. The custom header created in the video is an example I used for showing how to create a header. It’s not a header that I’m using for a website right now.? But for a niche site of your own you would want the header to fit your theme or subject matter. Best wishes, Kristi
