It makes putting rel=author easier for WordPress users with either? single or multi-author sites. It’s called AuthorSure and you can find it by typing AuthorSure into Google.

As long as it is verified you are OK. There are some other factors that also determine (as far as I can work out) whether or not your images shows. It does not show for everyone straight away. Some can takes weeks or months,? and some only days. I guess it depends on how many posts you have written, the quality of them and the amount of social engagement there is on your ourtput.

Thanks so much for this detailed explanation. I had some trouble with suggestions? from the Rich Snippets tool that I was missing some fields on my website, but when I inserted the author bio with the Google+ link, that cleared up – I guess you can’t skip that step. Thank you for the WP Biographia hint. I also added the “Simple Local Avatars” plugin to be able to add my photo to the biography since the theme I am using did not have that capability. Now, I am set.
