You probably are pasting the youtube video embed code into? the wrong half of your post editor. At the top of the box where you’re entering text, you’ll notice you can toggle between HTML and visual. Make sure you post the embed code in the HTML view. That should fix things!

Thanks for these videos – very helpful. I’m having an issue where I try to embed a link, as per? your instructions, but all I get on the page is.. the link. (i.e., NOT a youtube video that you can click).
Help?!

There should be. Actually it? all depends on the theme you’re using. Some support those and some don’t!

Wow, this video is so incredibly easy to follow.
I have so many times in the past tried to search for tutorials, and all the people have blabbled on and on and on, until you just? give up.
These tutorial sets the standards of how EASY it really should be.
Before I was not motivated to get wordpress, but with after this tutorial, I am getting it all. And please, can’t you make more tutorials on more functions as I am already hooked. You follow through with focus and ease.
Thank you!

In the latest wordpress 3.3.2, there is no header or background? under Appearance. Or was it a plugin you have added onto wordpress?

You can also add your own favicon.ico to your site root directory. However, other scripts often use a different location for the favicon. A “view page source” will show you the favicon location, and you can then upload your own file. ? favicon.cc is a great place to make your own free favicon.ico.
