   That’s right. You need to be using the permalink structure which doesn’t include category.

   postname or any of the? others are fine.

   You cannot delete the uncategorized category.

   You could also just publish pages.

   But then it says right below the post that it is in uncategorized. Do you know? if there is any way for that to not show up at all?

   Your posts will be? assigned to uncategorized. You don’t need to use tags. You can disable comments in your discussion settings.

   What if I didn’t want the categories to show up at all? I just want to be able to post? text without things like comments, categories and tags.

    i have a questoin sir.
    I want to attach different pages to different categories.
    For example:
    a page name is BOOKS, when i click on BOOKS? page then open Books Categories. and when i click on MUSIC page then open Music categories.

    I got one question how do you edit the category page itself say that you want to add content to the category what I mean is say this was my category I wanted to edit /category/videos how do I edit the page it self I try to do it but all I see is adding a new post for that? category, do I have to go to the back end to my ftp server to do it and if so is it one of the php files I have to edit please answer back. everytime I go it nothing there it just says category Archives:Videos
