I quess Rick’s on vacation. Has anyone else? resolved this problem? When posting the title appears rather than an audio player appearing?

Hello Rick I uploaded the plug in per your video and it works except on my wordrpess version? I can’t use the audio player to insert into the post. When I select insert the link disappears from the box. If I simple hit insert into post the name of the video underscored is posted. I would rather have the recognizable icon that indicates its a mp3 file. What am I doing wrong?

I’m having the exact same problem. When I click on the “Audio” button it does not format the link. It simply erases the link completely. I have no idea? why, and I haven’t been able to fix it. However, it’s possible to do the formatting yourself. When you hover your mouse over the “Audio” button, you’ll see the link to the audio file and all it has done is add [audio: to the front of the filename and an ending square bracket to the end of the filename ]. Just add [audio: ] to filename yourself

Thank You Rick.? I followed every move to the letter and the ending result was the song title was the only observable upload to the post. When I went to View Page that title actually linked to a quick time player. You know the real thin ones with no text or anything just the volume adjustment. So I played and stopped you tutorial move for move and the same thing happens over and over. Any ideas?

Hi, Rick! Fantastic tutorial! However, rather than placing the player? into posts, I was wanting to put the play on my front page, as a widget or at least on the sidebar of my theme. Is there a way to do this with this plugin? Thank you in advance for your help and easy tutorial!

Awesome dude you helped me out alot and now I can get my site going good….but one thing that you should post on youtube is how to raise your download? MB mine was set at 2MB until I found a way to get it up to 64MB

You said the audio players aren’t linked. Maybe it’s an updated version of them but I have two players on one page? and they play separately, the audio is paused in one while the other plays. It seems they are linked after all… cool. Just an FYI

@thewebtrainer Okay, figured it out now. Just have to ensure it’s an mp3 file rather than wav like what I had. I re-saved for free on line and it worked fine. Thanks.?
