thanks for the reply… i’m operating? a mac. I have gone back to the purchase and tried to re-download it… i have upload it zipped and un zipped.. zip is the one that actually goes thru but unfortunately it gives me that error… umm im following every step you instruct. i reported it, but it might be what you said, that maybe is being bought way to much… I purchased “Shoppica-Premium HTML E-commerce Theme” hey man thanks again for your interest in helping me out…

Try downloading it fully again.? And then re-uploading.
What is the name of the theme and where did you get it from?
You could go back to where you got it from.
But if alot of people have bought it already, chances are the problem is on your side.
Have you managed to install any themes incorrectly? perhaps you are making mistakes. Try uploading the whole zip file.

Hey, great work you have put out for us man… um im in video 4 and im trying to upload the theme that i just purchased but it gives me this? response “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.” what should i do ?

I? don’t really design themes from scratch. I have found it takes way to long, so I can’t help there. I tend to stick with putting existing things together so I can get rapid progress.

Moving on to the next video so this question might be redundant, but… I want to create my own theme since Photoshop is my weapon of choice, it’s just? that I have only worked with print thus far, but that does not seem to be choice with this method of setting up a site?

It doesn’t look like you have done your name servers correctly. You need to login to where you bought your domain and let them know that you’re using the hostgator name servers.? You get these name servers in the bottom left hand corner when you login to cpanel

Are you using the showtime theme I used in the tutorial?
If you’re just using a normal theme, you will need to google around for specific things you want to do. I haven’t found a site which has a list of? well structured tutorials which is also free. Suggestions anyone?
