AnythingSlider for WordPress Plugin Tutorial

Get the plugin here: bit.ly The plugin will work on all WordPress installs, but since all themes are different,you will need to style it to make it fit into your theme. The plugins creates a post_meta_box on your wordpress post edit page so you can select which image to use in the slider. This video shows how to add images to the content slider and tweak the CSS to make it fit. If you want a Free Premium WordPress theme with the AnythingSlider already installed, go to mattdunlap.org to get it. The theme is the same one I’m using for my blog.

Hi, does? the slider just link to recent blog posts, or can you make it link to other pages or posts? Where would I type the code if this is possible?

This tutorial is pretty old, so I’m sure you can find some updated jQuery slider? that can handle video… But, I do see a problem with trying to add a video becuase the video will either be playing all the time even when not in the active panel, or you have to handle the video to only play when the video is in the active panel

Where can I get a copy of your AnythingSlider Plugin? The one off the wordpress site doesn’t have the functionality? that yours appears to.
