WordPress 101 – The Portfolio Post Relationship

I have a template in which by clicking on those portfolio thumbnails, the lightbox pops up and displays multiple images. 2 questions: How do I add, sub, change those images? And how can I make each one of those lightboxes different from one another…. for instance… a photography website. You navigate to this portfolio page and see a set of thumbnails labeled accordingly: Seniors, Wedding, etc… Obviously by clicking seniors thumbnail…? you’d see senior photos in the lightbox and so on.
