WordPress Tutorial – How to Change the Banner Image in the Atahualpa Theme

websiterockstars.com In my previous tutorials, I had you take out the picture at the top of the theme so that you could start using the theme and get your website up and running right away. However, for certain websites, it may be nice to have a banner image. Atahualpa is cool because it will randomly rotate all the banners you upload to the header folder. This is a tutorial on how to add the banner image back in and how to create banners using the free image editing software Gimp. If this video helped you, feel free to make a donation at my website. Thanks!

@cjxgaming It is similar for all themes. You just have to find out where the banner files are stored and alter them accordingly.

Thank you. Excellent explanation. Make more videos on page design in Atahualpa, or placing adds in the side bars. Can you also start with duple tutorial for beginners. Well just do more classes. Thanks again.

@hmformals Yes, you can use Filezilla in place of the control panel file manager.

Thanks…I am using the free Atahualpa theme. Try refreshing the control panel. Are you on WordPress [dot]com or on your own hosting?

Excellent video. Thank you. Does this work on free Atahualpa themes. I followed your directions and the Atahualpa theme folder did not appear in control panel. It is installed, the free version, however, on four sites. Let me know. Thank you!
