@lisaewilliams I’ve run into problems with certain plugins not doing what they’re supposed to do. My advice…it’s good to try and fix it, but if it’s taking up too much time, there are a ton of other social media sharing plugins out there, so give them a shot. I’ll tell you my secret…if I can’t fix the thing inside 30 minutes, I move on. This has saved me a ton of headaches….just my opinion, of course.

@lisaewilliams …..you might also check to see if you have the latest version of WordPress installed & make sure that your version is compatible with the plugin.

@lisaewilliams You might want to check and make sure that the plugin is correct. A lot of publishers, who are not very skilled, will title their work very similar to the more popular plugins. Check to see if you’re getting the “SexyBookmarks | email, bookmark, and share buttons”, version 4.0.1 (as of the writing of this comment), by Shareaholic. Now, if you’ve got that, this plugin may have a problem with your particular theme. Test out different themes and see if you have the same problem.

@willmackay Actually, you won’t find it in the “Appearance”, but in the “Plugins” to the left of your admin console. I’m glad these tutorials are helping.
