Thanks for sharing this basic and important tutorial. It will be very helpful for newbie like me. You should also provide us seo basic tutorial like this. thanks again for these all your videos. This is great job i like it and bookmark it.

I was wondering what does one do when after changing the permalinks setting to e.g. /%category% and clicks save but a message comes up saying; You should change your .htaccess now?
After this message comes up a code is generated @ the bottom of the page and WP instructs me to copy the code to my .htaccess file as the one I have is not writable. If you could advise on how one resolves that I will be ever so greatful.
BTW i am not making a blog I am making a website for small buisnesses. Thanx
