What do you think about using Nivo Slider with the “JJ NextGen JQuery Slider”? plugin and “NextGEN Gallery”? And “Photoswipe for NextGEN Gallery” for a mobile touch feature for swiping? Thanks guys! I love the show. I don’t know why you guys don’t have at least several thousand views by now, lol. Keep up the good work!

Solon, great question! Yes if you’re just starting out it’s probably best to stay within the same ecosystem. Use the sliders/plugins that compliment the themes. WooSlider for WooThemes, Genesis slider for StudioPress themes and so on. I’m sure you would get great support from SlideDeck folks — but? if you’re really uncertain, stay within the same company. Hope that helps!

Great Podcasts you guys, thanks! You? mentioned that you can’t expect to just add a slider on your WP theme and expect it to just appear on your homepage unless it’s a theme specific theme.. So, if a novice to intermediate guy like me wants to add a slider to their Woo Theme like Canvas, am I better off getting the Woo Slider for it, or is it easy enough to use Slide Deck etc as well since Canvas is an out of the box theme and not custom? Sorry for the long question…

I’ve watched at least 7 of your videos. You’ve made it a pleasure to choose a membership plugin as well as a slider plugin? from the zillion available.

But the cherry that tops the cake is the fact that I REALLY feel I don’t have to look anywhere else to ‘be convinced’ – which is something I ALWAYS end up doing.

Grateful for the ‘I’m done!’ feeling your videos have provided me and, I’m sure, lots of other people 🙂
