May 17th, 2009 by admin

Beginner-level WordPress Tutorial by Mark McLaren of McBuzz Communications shows how to insert text into a WordPress Post or Page from a Microsoft Word Document, PDF, Notepad, WordPad, TextEdit Text Document or other text file format. You’re right. It should work the same way in Pc and Mac but I guess this has to do with the text editor plugin.

No problem! Can you tell me what was the plugin you needed? Maybe other viewers have the same problem.

I can see both… but…I added a plugin and the other setting is showing up now. Thanks a lot for your assistance!

I did not add any plugins for this. Can you see the Visual text editing window or just the code window? Windows/Mac? Firefox?

I’m using the 2.3.1 version and I can’t see it. Are you are using a plugin to enhance the editor?

Thanks for pointing that out. The more options button – also called the ‘Show/Hide Advanced Toolbar’ button – and the Advanced Toolbar itself – are new features in version 2.3 of WordPress.

Thanks …starnge though, my wp page does not have the more option button. I wonder if you were using some plugins for that
