www.otisteaches.com Before you conduct your first post, I recommend customizing your WordPress permalink structure. Permalinks are basically the layout of how a URL of a WordPress post appears. WordPress’ default permalink structure includes a bunch of random numbers in your url. This won’t do jack squat for your search engine optimization. Instead, you should look into customizing your permalink structure with the category field and post name.More… Are you confused by what I just said …

You are a genius. I had been struggling to figure this out. I personally hate the technicalities of blogging. But slowly slowly I’m learning.
Thanks dear

Otis, I finally figured out how to create my .htaccess file. If anyone else on the team has the same problem, send them my way.

Man, I am stuck. I ripped down my site and did everything over again and there’s still not .htaccess file. I don’t want to even start to build the site with the default structure of the links in place.

Yeah I had that problem once and I am trying to remember how I solved it. You could just write a htaccess file and upload it. Do a search on Google about htaccess files and you will find the information you are seeking.

for some reasons.. i cant find the htaccess even tho I clicked the show hidden files?
